Step by step setup of a linksys router.

Step 1: type "cmd" in the search bar, click the "command Prompt"

Step 2: type "ipconfig /all" in the command prompt

Step 3: search for the default gateway EX: 192.168.254.254

Step 4: type the default gateway into the browser

Step 5: the username and password for the router should be admin

Step 6: click "wireless" and click "wireless security"

Step 7: the WPA key is where you can add a password " make sure you choose "WPA2 Personal" for the security mode

Step 8: save the changes and test internet connection
