Video clips filmed in Calgary's Heritage Park, mostly focused on the 1.3km loop railway track as well as the specifically-built roundhouse and carriage shed, with a turntable. Also some footage of the Heritage Village and the Ranch. All three stations are seen (Midnapore, Laggan and Shepard).
Two operating steam locomotives '2023' and '2024' - both masquerading as Canadian Pacific engines using numbers that didn't exist in the CP roster. 2023 is ex. US Army 4012 (built by Alco in 1942) with 2024 being ex. US Army 4076 (built by Lima in 1944). Both engines were sold to Pacific Coast Terminals in New Westminster, BC in 1947 and withdrawn in 1965. 2024 arrived at Heritage Park in 1967, with 2023 following in 1979. 2024 was running the regular passenger train with two Morrisey, Fernie and Michel Railway carriages and a Canadian National observation car. 2023 was running a caboose-ride special with a short freight train.
We also see ex. Canadian Pacific 2144 in the roundhouse, which was renumbered 6144. In 1943 it was sold to Canmore Mines where it served until 1964. The engine now carries number 2018, which like 2023 and 2024 did not exist in the CP fleet roster. Outside the park are static display locomotives, a Selkirk steam locomotive built in 1949, and retired in 1959 - Canadian Pacific 5931; and a Diesel Alco S2 switcher locomotive built in 1944 - Canadian Pacific 7019.
