It seems only a short time ago that the Jenson Button & Ant Anstead backed Lotus Radford Type 62-2, based in part on the Lotus Evora platform and evoking a modern homage to the classic Lotus Type 62, burst onto the scene, and now in 2024 we are already seeing their filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy...
Where things get more disappointing is some of the other financial and legal issues surrounding this little marque, most notably vast sums of money accepted from customers as deposits, which literally years down the line have had no vehicle delivered - and more concerningly - no refunds, even when in some cases these deposits exceed £1,000,000...!
