Israel has claimed responsibility for several strikes on Iran. Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari said the IDF was conducting “precise strikes on military targets in Iran”, accusing Iran of “relentlessly attacking Israel since October 7”.

Israel has not elaborated on the targets.

Iranian state media had earlier reported that explosions had been heard around Tehran, but did not specify the cause at the time.
