The death toll from the devastating tanker explosion on Tuesday in Jigawa State has risen to 168, leaving over 100 others fighting for their lives with severe burns.
The explosion occurred in Majiya town of Taura local Government area of Jigawa State.
In a visit to the affected area, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, conveyed President Tinubu's condolences to the government and families of the victims
