Decided to start pursuing a lifelong dream of getting my pilot license and after the first couple of lessons figured I should document the process in a VLOG! View my Patreon page at [ Ссылка ] to support these videos and if you enjoy them please like, favorite, comment, subscribe, share, etc.
Here is my eleventh lesson! Took the Archer PA28-180 out to Rio Vista (O88) for several touch and gos. This was my second time flying this particular airplane, and the higher horsepower engine was messing with my landing approaches (almost all of them were too high because I was having trouble slowing the plane down as much as I thought it should).
This particular aircraft also has a compressed strut on the left side gear, which makes takeoffs and landings a bit wobbly. I did my best to correct for it, but with just shy of 16 hours total flight time my skills aren't quite that honed yet!
Had an absolute blast, and though my radio skills aren't perfect I was very pleased that I didn't make any huge mistakes talking to the various controllers or while at Rio Vista.
I'm flying a Piper Archer PA28-180.
