The 11 accused in the Transnet state capture case, including former Transnet CEO Brian Molefe, appeared once again in the Palm Ridge Magistrates court.
They include, former group CEOs Brian Molefe and Siyabonga Gama, former CFO Anoj Singh, ex-acting CFO Garry Pita; former group treasurer Phetolo Ramosebudi, Regiments Capital shareholder and Trillian boss Eric Wood, Wood’s employee Daniel Roy, Regiments directors Litha Nyhonyha and Niven Pillay, Gupta fixer Kuben Moodley and McKinsey partner Vikas Sagar, who was charged in absentia.
They were charged along with McKinsey SA, represented in the dock by Goitseone Mangope.
They face more than 50 counts of fraud and corruption.
