The French ambassador in Sarajevo and a French division of SFOR on Tuesday (22/4) and Wednesday (23/4) paid tribute to 68 French soldiers killed during the Bosnian war.
Families of the deceased soldiers travelled to Bosnia to take part in memorial services. A church mass was held at Sarajevo cathedral in honour of the 68 French Army victims in Bosnia and monuments were opened at Sarajevo's airport and outside the French embassy and
A special ceremony was held at the airport in honour of three soldiers who were killed when the Serb army shelled Sarajevo in 1995.
