Manfeild is a fun track near the bottom of the New Zealand's north island, just on the outskirts of the pretty little village of Feilding. I took my stock NA-gen MX5, nearly two decades old now, and flogged it all day at this track day, turning low 1:40's - this video here shows a lap done in 1:42. Not race car quick, but still a lot of fun to do.
The street tires it was on were squirming through most of the corners, like the 0:44 mark's tire squeal through the Castol Esses.
Around the 1:28 mark, that a modified Porsche 911 Turbo that flies by. Ever wondered what a drag race out of a corner between a 415 hp 911 Turbo and 120 hp Mazda MX5 looks like? There's your answer.
