We all want the next generation of devices to play even more challenging games and take beautiful pictures. In order to produce the next generation of more powerful electronic devices with faster processors, bigger memory and higher resolution displays and make them more affordable at the same time, feature sizes have to continue to shrink and throughput in test and assembly has to be increased.
Equipment manufacturers need to utilize advanced motion control in order to achieve better accuracy combined with higher speed. ACS motion control has been providing products for a wide range of demanding motion-centric industrial applications since 1985.
Smarter motion solutions are based on innovative software, hardware and control technologies. To inspect the new generation of processors ACS has developed a revolutionary line of nano PWM switching motor drives and the unique servo boost control algorithm achieving amazing levels of accuracy with sub-nanometer resolution combined with the highest speed and throughput currently available.
For production of high resolution 4k and 8k displays ACS together with scan lab GmbH has developed an innovative technology and method of machining and marking large display glasses with micrometer accuracy and a high throughput by combining the motion of a laser scanner with the motion of a mechanical XY stage.
