The cereal harvest for 2023 has kicked off on the Northern Hemisphere and we start with a brand new Claas Trion 720 combine harvester making its first hectares at Dutch arable farm de Minderhoudhoeve in the Flevopolder.

CLAAS launched the Trion-series in 2021 and the first machines are hitting the fields this year after a postponed delivery due to parts availability. The Trion 710, 720 and 730 have a Roto plus single threshing rotor whereas the 750 has a double rotor like the Lexion. They have a 142cm wide threshing drum. The 720 features a 367 HP Cummins engine and has a 12.000L grain tank. It is also fitted with the famous Terra Trac system. It is cutting the barley with a 7.7m wide header.
