IIHS is inviting submissions for the ninth edition of its Annual Research Conference, Urban ARC, that will take place from 16-18 January 2025, in person at the IIHS, Bengaluru City Campus and online. IIHS Urban ARC is an engaging space for cutting-edge conversations on urban issues in the Global South.

The ninth edition invites researchers, scholars, and practitioners to engage with the theme, 'Urban Transitions', from an array of perspectives, sectors, scales, methodologies, and academic disciplines. We are especially interested in work that examines southern urban transitions, particularly in non-metropolitan urban centres that are emerging sites for future urban transitions.
