The best thing about being on you P’s is driving and the freedom it brings. The worst thing is the actual P-Plates.
If you Put them in the wrong place, have one missing or not perfectly visible you can get fined and or lose demerit points.
So, what are the rules?
There are 2 things to remember:
1. You need to display the entire plate – no part of it can be covered
2. The plate needs to be whole – no rips or missing parts
Usually The plastic type tend to be the ones that get tucked in the wrong place and fall off, with the magnetic ones you have a few more options.
And yes, they do fall off sometimes, so keep a spare in the glovebox.
