Residents of all ages celebrated the opening of the Te Ara Mua – Future Streets project in Mangere. It was an evening of performances by students of Nga Iwi School, sausage sizzle, treasure hunt and an educational cycling tour.

Valerie Adams made a surprise visit and mingled with the crowd.
