Setup.
Start by scanning this QR code from the screen or the rules booklet.
Launch the game on the phone, choose if you want to play challenges or not, press start and place it on the phone holder.
Shuffle the clue cards and place them near the board.
Decide as a group, which clue color to use for the whole game: red or blue.
Give each player a mover and tokens of their chosen color, a marker and a board.
Place the movers on the board’s starting space.
And now you are ready to learn how to play.
The object of the game is to draw clues and then having the AI guessing correctly the drawing.
To start a round, tap the phone.
If the players chose to play with challenges, they will be issued a challenge.
Whether you chose to play with a challenge or not, each player takes a clue card, looks at it, keeping it in secret from other players, and one player must tap “Start Timer”.
When the timer starts, all players must draw their clues.
Make sure you draw with the Pictionary logo at the top of the board.
Note that you can only draw lines inside the white area of the board.
Also note that you should not fill in areas like in this example.
If you chose to play with challenges, follow the instructions on screen whenever a challenge is issued.
When the timer ends, place down your marker.
Without revealing the clue cards, players must place their tokens on the opponent’s boards to predict if the AI will guess their drawings.
Place the + token if you think the AI will guess correctly or the – token if you think the AI will not guess it.
One at a time, each player reveals their clue card.
One at a time, place drawings into the holder and wait for the AI to attempt guessing the clue.
When an AI guesses a player`s own drawing, that player moves their token one space on the board.
Players also move 1 space for each + and - tokens they guessed correctly.
Before starting a new round, wipe the boards clean.
The first player to reach the finish space wins!
If there is a tie, flip over a single clue card and all tied players race to draw the clue.
The first player whose drawing is correctly guessed by the AI wins!
