दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी त्रासदी भोपाल गैस कांड के लिए जिम्मेदार यूनियन कार्बाइड फैक्ट्री का 377 मीट्रिक टन जहरीला कचरा 40 साल बाद बुधवार को भोपाल से पीथमपुर रवाना कर दिया गया है. बुधवार रात करीब 9 बजे इन्हें 12 कंटेनर ट्रकों में लादकर पुलिस के भारी सुरक्षा के बीच भोपाल से बाहर किया गया है. इसके लिए सुरक्षा के तमाम उपाय किए गए हैं. पुलिस वाहनों के साथ ग्रीन कॉरिडोर बनाते हुए इसे शहर से बाहर किया गया है. यह रात रात ही पीथमपुर पहुंच जाएगा और फिर इसका सेफ डिस्पोज होगा.
