Backpay: increases to Social Security checks with this new law
In this video, we are discussing Social Security and a new law that was just implemented which will change Social Security in a huge way for millions of beneficiaries by increasing Social Security benefit checks for these beneficiaries as well as offering back payments for at least the last 12 months to the beginning of 2024. This will offer a lump sum back payment to these beneficiaries who are eligible from the Social Security administration. This does not impact all Social Security beneficiaries, but rather it does impact roughly 3,000,000 Social Security beneficiaries who would be eligible. We are discussing the details of these back payments, increases to Social Security benefit checks, who would be impacted and whose Social Security checks will be increased as a result of the new law.
