Roy Demeo is an infamous Mob guy but to me is a cold blooded serial. The history of the Gemini Lounge is interesting as it had been around since the 1940s but different names. In the early 60s, it was owned by Phil Grande, a degenerate gambler who ended up owing money to A local loan shark named Roy Demeo. Demeo becomes a silent partner in the lounge and it is renamed Gemini Lounge. It is as a neighborhood spot. Demo was initially part of the Lucchese family but after working out of the Gemini Lounge he hooks up with Gambino Nino Gaggi. Roy Demeo becomes Wealthy and has a number of businesses including a car dealership. He does his first piece of work on Paul Rothenberg, a business partner because of concerns he would become an informant and cooperate. The Roy Demeo crew is established in the 1970s with a cast of characters including the Gemini Twins Joey Testa and Anthony Senter. The violence was too much even for the Gambinos and the family had Joey Testa and Anthony Senter take out Roy Demeo. The lounge ends up getting sold and renamed a few times and in 1997 becomes a church.
