In this demonstration, we look at how to give folder access permissions based on Active Directory (AD) Groups in which users belong to using Windows Server 2022 (same steps apply for Windows Server 2019). Home Folders shared root folder path typical syntax to auto generate folders based on individual user Active Directory logon name:
\\SRVER_NAME\ROOT_FOLDER_LOCATION\%username%
