Previously a battleground during World War II, Kent Ridge Park combines a mixture of nature and history for those who visit. Looking to learn more about this park? Check out the Reflections Bukit Chandu, a museum dedicated to Singapore's battles during WWII. This museum is located at the end of the Canopy Walk. Another historical area is the commemoration plaque at Carpark B, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the end of WWII. Kent Ridge Park also features a variety of hiking trails ranging from easy to moderate. The trails are encompassed in natural vegetation and biodiversity. Head over to the east section of the park where the pond is located, visitors will also be able to see turtles and and fishes. This park is also home to a multitude of bird species, some can be seen at the canopy walk or heard throughout the pathways.
