When talking about temperature transmitters, there are two main aspects to be mentioned: Safety and reliability. Nobody wants to think about them anymore, after installation and commissioning. For more than 40 years KROHNE has developed and manufactured temperature transmitters. All of them have given outstanding accuracy and long-term stability. Today we offer a broad variety of transmitters starting from simple 4 ... 20 mA devices and again most complex HART transmitters for use in safety applications and hazardous areas. Our transmitters are available in rail mounted versions or as the round head mounted transmitters - sometimes affectionately called hockey puck - which can be installed directly in the connection head of the sensor, or in a separate field housing. Our latest transmitter series features a unique NFC interface, that makes configuration and programming of the transmitters very easy. You can simply use your smartphone together with the OPTICHECK Mobile Temperature App to do all the configuration. Alternatively, Bluetooth or a cable modem are other simple ways to change parameters using a mobile phone or laptop. The TT51 and TT53 transmitters also offer a HART interface. Our transmitter TT51 is SIL2 compliant and can therefore be also used in safety related applications. The KROHNE OPTITEMP series offers you a wide range of modern temperature transmitters.
