For almost 15 days, the residents of Peeragarhi village in outer Delhi have faced an unusual water issue.
Whenever they turn on their taps, foamy, bright blue water flows out.
They attribute this problem to the many chemical and denim factories in the area, accusing them of improperly disposing of industrial waste, which they believe is contaminating the drinking and bathing water supplied by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), making it toxic.
