RioVation® has developed the next generation fixed film media called BioMaze™ that converts a state approved single or multi compartment, poly, fiberglass or concrete septic tank into a Biofilm Reactor. We recommend that an existing tank be pumped, cleaned and inspected. Once installed we are typically seeing single digit CBOD5 and TSS effluent. This effluent is clear and odorless and rich in oxygen and aerobic microbes which not only treat the wastewater in the tank but flow out to the drainfield and clean up biomat issues in short order thus keeping the drainfield clean and functional!
