DC Railfreight "Grid" 56091 heads north along the west coast main line and through Bamfurlong on the evening of Saturday 4th March 2023.

The Class 56 was working the Middleton Towers to Ravenhead (St Helens) loaded sand train and was running a few minutes early here cruising along the slow lines.

This train is often a toss up between a class 56 or 60. We get a grid superior traction on this occasion.

Happier now the light of an evening is slowly improving before the clocks change. Nice chat seeing Alan down here too amongst some dog walkers.
