Kodubale is a common snack and a household name in Karnataka. Fondly remembered by the young and old alike, this dish leaves Kannadigas reminiscing of their childhood days! From Leelamma's kitchen to your screen, a special recipe of kodubale. Enjoy the recipe.
Take 4 measures (glasses) of rice flour, 2 tablespoons of lightly roasted maida, 4 tablespoons of well-roasted small rava in a big mixing bowl. In a grinding jar, take a big bowl of grated fresh coconut, red chilies 2o-25, jeera 1 tablespoon, a small quantity of hing, and grind them with water. Add this paste to the bowl containing rice flour. Add salt, a cup of heated oil to it and make it into a dough not too hard or not too soft. Take small quantities and kneed it well and role it on the chopping board to make it a tube-like shape. then bring both ends closer to overlap on each other to make it a kodubale. prepare the rings in the raw dough and deep fry them on a medium flame.
