On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Catalyst Creative Collective in the Tucson Mall, Audrey T. Lin (Gerstner Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Scholar) presented about “The History of the Coast Salish Woolly Dogs.” Dr. Lin integrates genomics and Indigenous knowledge to illuminate the life, history, and loss of Coast Salish woolly dogs of the Pacific Northwest.
This presentation was a part of Archaeology Southwest's Archaeology Café series. This six-part series, from October to April (skipping January) every first Tuesday at 6 pm (MST), is an informal forum that brings lifelong learners together with experts.
