Professor Piet Eeckhout discusses the European Court of Justice's Advocate General opinion that the UK can unilaterally withdraw from exiting the EU - without approval from other member states.
Professor Eeckhout is Dean of UCL Faculty of Laws and Academic Director of the European Institute. Professor Eeckhout was part of the Wightman legal team, having written about the subject of revocability in Common Market Law Review (with Dr Eleni Frantziou, Durham University).
