Many passengers who booked domestic flights to travel on Monday were left in a lurch at the airport, after they found that their tickets have been cancelled. Most of them said they did not get any prior intimation about the cancellation from either the airline or the state government. At least 80 scheduled flights have been cancelled in Delhi alone. The chaos is due to states capping the number of incoming and outgoing flights on a daily basis. Most of the cancellations, however, are flights to and from West Bengal, which has said it will not be able to resume operations dealing with a twin-crisis situation after Cyclone Amphan.
