Although the screen lacks multi-touch and the battery will only provide 4 hours of use, the A7 at its price point, proves to be worthy of its cult following. Like most tablets on the market or about to drop, it clearly is far from perfect but it does offer great performance and real flash support out of the box.
The much pricier Motorola Xoom($800 + other fees) will not have flash support out of the box but it is safe to assume that XDA developers will remedy that regardless of Adobe certification delays as the Xoom system specs should have no issues with flash content. While the Xoom should be a game changer, the question is at what cost?
In my opinion, its current cost is simply too high and even though the WiFi model is more reasonable at $600, there still in no street date in sight. The bottom line is that the eLocity is a solid tablet at a reasonable price even when compared to superior devices like the Dell Streak 7, Moto Xoom and other Tegra 2 based tablets soon to launch. It seems its lack of multi-touch will prevent it from seeing Honeycomb but you never know what might happen down the road with more development. I think the A7 will continue to please, especially as its price softens with the launch of more compelling devices.
