Health and social development research shows that South Africa is among the countries facing high substance abuse among youth. Recently several Soweto youths, who are hooked on drugs, begged to be admitted to rehab. Organisations have stepped forward to assist the addicts rehabilitate. Some are waiting to be admitted to various rehabilitation centres in January.
