The objective of the first project was to develop a plan for our storytelling using just our smartphone. I filmed my short video chronologically so I could keep the story straight and allow the viewers to follow along.
My first solo filmmaking project was a challenging and eye-opening experience. I quickly realized that there was a lot more to it than I had anticipated. From setting up the shooting angles to capturing the sound and editing the footage, every step of the process was new to me. I found myself struggling to get the lighting and sound just right, and I had to reshoot several scenes because I wasn't happy with how they looked or sounded. The post-production was also time-consuming, as I had to learn how to use editing software and add transitions and audio files. Some of the music clips in this video were produced by me. It was a lot of work, but it was also very rewarding, as I felt a great sense of accomplishment when the final project was finished.
