On Father’s Day, Minister of Art & Communication suggests that Jesus had “two dads”—Joseph, who is mentioned only a few times in the Gospels, and God the Father who is referred to over a hundred times. Though our relationships with our fathers may be complex and having only one metaphor for God as “father” may be limiting, there are times in our lives when we may need to call on that divine “dad” energy and it need not be distant or formal.
