Adapting is one of the best ways to open up the world of lenses available to you. Leica knew this when they introduced the M series in the 1950s so they released a series of adapters for their earlier 39mm thread mount lenses. With the right adapter, your camera would even bring up the correct framelines for the lens you were using! Very cool!
Also cool; the Voigtländer 50mm f3.5 Heliar collapsible pictured here. This lens was released to celebrate the 101st anniversary of Voigtländer. Only 2000 were made and we have one!
