Ingredients –
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 tsp Fennel seeds
4 green cardamom
1 Cup Sooji / Rava
1/2 Cup Wholewheat flour
1 tsp Sesame seeds
1/4 Cup Oil / Ghee
1/2 Cup Milk
Method –
Add sugar, fennel seeds, cardamom in a mixer jar and make a fine powder.
Add suji, wheat flour, sesame seeds, oil and powdered sugar in a bowl.
Mix nicely, gradually add milk and make a dough, cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Now roll the dough in a thick sheet. Cut in small square pieces.
Heat oil on low flame, add 2 handfull of prepared shakkarpare in oil and fry on low flame, till they become light golden brown and crispy.
Take them out and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container.
