USAID in joint cooperation with Chevron launched a series of courses on financial accounting to further support the Government of Turkmenistan's reform of the national accounting system. Part of the USAID-supported Certified International Professional Accountant (CIPA) program, the courses focus on numerous topics, such as financial statement presentation, accruals concepts, and financial instruments, and are a prerequisite for individuals seeking to obtain the internationally-recognized qualification of Certified Accounting Practitioner.
