Several area school districts have announced closings due to the forecasted excessive heat on Tuesday.
Parma City Schools, Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools, and South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools have all canceled classes on Tuesday.
Cleveland Metropolitan School District will have a two-hour early release for its non-air conditioned buildings on Tuesday.
And Avon Lake City Schools' elementary schools and Learwood Middle School will be closed on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
