A 48-hour total fire ban is in force across New South Wales as the state braces for catastrophic bushfire conditions in some parts tomorrow.
After a deadly weekend that saw three lives lost and at least 150 homes destroyed, all fires have been downgraded.
Fire crews will try to use today's better conditions to gain the upper hand before a ferocious wind change tomorrow.
