2021-11-25 – In this video, satellite images show sites before and after the floods in Sumas Prairie to the east of Abbotsford, British Columbia. Highways, roads, buildings and farms were still flooded on November 19, 2021.

While all eyes are on the sky for signs of stormy weather, satellites are looking down at Earth, both day and night, to help rescue teams on the ground make informed decisions and plan effective response efforts.
