The Bau Gawai Parade 2024 showcased a vibrant and colourful display of traditional costumes, with around 800 participants from 43 contingents taking part.
Contingents of different ethnicities took part in the parade, not only to celebrate the upcoming Dayak harvest season together, but also to celebrate unity within the community in Bau District.
Tasik Biru assemblyman Datuk Henry Harry Jinep, who attended the parade alongside other distinguished guests, expressed his hope for increased participation in future Gawai parades.
