Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón has announced his support for the resentencing of Erik and Lyle Menendez, who were convicted of killing their parents more than three decades ago.
The brothers might now get out of prison instead of spending life behind bars, as they had been previously sentenced. "Because of their age, they would be eligible for parole immediately," Gascón said during a Thursday press conference.
