The redeveloped George Washington Bridge Bus Station (GWBBS) has opened its new bus pavilion and spacious passenger waiting area, as part of a redevelopment that represents the facility’s most significant improvement since it opened in 1963.
The new bus pavilion includes a heated and air-conditioned waiting area, bus gates that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and seating for up to 125 customers, as well as ticket sales, public restrooms and electronic passenger information boards.
