It's amazing and moving to see people in remote, empoverished, and challenging places use Bitcoin.
One of these towns is Ancon, just north of Peru's capital, Lima. 🇵🇪
I spent a day there with the team at Motiv, an NGO or (non governmental oraganisation).
As the first Bitcoin circular economy in Peru, I tried to understand why on earth people were using Bitcoin rather than cash. And whether or not they found benefits to using Bitcoin over cash.
I was suprised. I was humbled.
And then I was inspired... which lead to the creation of this video!
