The village of Vajska, as well as the entire municipality of Bač, is known for being home to as many as 25 national minorities. That is why in this area, in working with children, the emphasis is always placed on learning the language of the environment, socialization, and inclusion of as many marginalized groups as possible. Only in this way, can preschool education inspire multiculturalism and erase any stereotypes that arise in the early years.
Every year around 60 children start preschool, and due to the lack of infrastructure in the village, they are forced to use only one study room available, and they can do it only in shifts.
Because of this a large number of children who didn't make the cut are left without access to kindergarten. This means no opportunities for them to adapt more easily to the environment, no chance to socialize without any cultural obstacles and no way for them to start learning through play with their peers.
Building a new preschool would mean that 80 more children from this and the surrounding villages, would get a chance to spend a whole day surrounded with their friends!
