Considered to be the easiest of the 46 high peaks in the Adirondacks, Cascade & Porter Mountains offer stunning views for a relatively short hike (4.8 miles for Cascade, 6.2 with Porter). From Cascade, there are 360-degree views of Lake Placid, the Great Range, and the other high peaks. While not as spectacular as Cascade, Porter has a more peaceful summit with great views to the south.
