15/09/2018 edit: You know, coming back to this video 7 months later has me rolling my eyes. What even is this build? Why am I not using Devastation's Thorns? Why did I never Guard Point yet know what it is, how to do it and how useful it is? So many questions. Best time for Tempered Kirin as of now is 6'32"78, I could have done better but I was playing/jousting with the Kirin for fun in the second half. I want to get into speedrunning hunts but have never got around to it. Maybe I'll end up doing it one day on this channel, I'm thinking of uploading various hunts from GU.

Original: My very first ever fight with a Tempered Kirin, specifically the assigned quest you unlock at HR49. Everyone was bigging it up, it's the most unfair thing in the series, everyone's having trouble with it, why did they lock the endgame behind this nigh impossible HR49 quest?

Yet here I am doing it on my first try without carting and it became my quickest time hunting a Kirin ever. Low Rank Kirin kicked my shit in but both the High Rank one and this Tempered one were ridiculously easy compared to when I was in Low Rank. I'm not even using the maxed out Nergigante Charge Blade, just the first form of it.
