The beaches in Menorca, Cala en Bosch and Cala Galdana to name but two, absolutely must be at the top of your 'things to do' list as they are some of the prettiest little beaches you'll ever see!
We hit Cala Galdana in the early morning and there was hardly a person in sight! Cala en Bosch, on the other hand, was preeeetty busy by the time we got there around lunchtime, but there were a tonne of pedalos and restaurants to keep us entertained.

We visited 4 beaches in Menorca. First up is our favourite, Cala en Forcat.
This is probably the busiest of the resorts that we went to. There was an Aqua Park for kids and lots of play parks so it’s definitely a mecca for the children.
On to the great bit though and that’s the bay itself because it’s all a bit quieter down there. The water’s clear; it has these rocky little coves; fish swimming around; great for snorkelling. In terms of accessibility though, it’s a little bit impossible. There are some steep, rocky steps to get down so if you’re elderly or disabled you might struggle. But if you can brave the rocky steps, you will not be disappointed.
Next is Cala Galdana. The beach itself is really pretty. It’s surrounded by cliffs and there are several trails that you can take up there. It’s definitely a resort but it’s more of a low-key quaint kind of resort.
At number three is Cala en Bosch. It’s really well decked out for families; it’s full of hotels and apartments, so it’s guaranteed to pretty much always be busy.
If you want to be getting on this beach, you need to be there early by the looks of things because that’s so crowded. Water sports are super popular and by water sports, we mean pedalos, with slides, in their hundreds!
Yep, there’s a really nice marina as well. I’m just behind Burger King and found this beautiful marina with loads and loads of shops. There’s a Mexican that I can see… There’s fish restaurants, there’s pizzerias. So I recommend coming to this one!
Lastly is our least favourite, Cala Blanca. We’re here in Cala Blanca and although it is definitely siesta time and about half past three, it is quite quiet here! There’s a lot of residential buildings, it has quite a sleepy feel to it. It’s about 500 metres from the Cala Blanca beach.
