Brilliant performance by legendary Um Murghiya and other Saharawi musicians of famous revolutionary song Sahara Ma Timba (The Sahara Is Not For Sale), one of the songs that mobilised more Saharawis to join their struggle in the mid-1970s. This song was composed by Um Murghiya's mother when she was escaping the Moroccan bombings of Western Sahara in 1975, just before she and her children became refugees in SW Algeria. 37 years later and with their country still occupied by Morocco, the Saharawis keep seeing music as the best battlefield, their songs representing their identity, their cause and their right to self-determination.
