KRMB office will be shifted to AP from Hyd: Jal Shakti Minister Shekhawat
Speaking to the media after the conclusion of the Apex Council meeting over the river-sharing dispute between two Telugu states, Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that the office of the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) will be shifted to Andhra Pradesh from Telangana. He stated CMs of AP and Telangana have agreed to submit the DPRs of the new projects started after 2014 on Godavari and Krishna rivers to the respective boards as per the AP Reorganisation Act. Any new project has to be taken up only after the nod of the Apex Council, he stated.
