Recipe:
3 medium onions, cut into julienne
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. corn starch
1 and 1/2 cups / 300g / 10.5oz green lentils, cleaned and washed
6 cups of tap water
2 cups / 415g / 14.6oz coarse bulgur #3
4 cups of stock water
salt
ground black pepper
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 and 1/3 cups / 300ml of olive oil
Note:
Serve with pickles and your choice of salad
you can also add 1 cup of vegetable stock + 3 cups of lentils stock to the bulgur and lentils mix , it gives an extra flavor .
