Dr. Joy Varghese, Hepatologist at Gleneagles Global Hospital, Chennai, is explaining about various liver diseases treatment in India. He was honored by British “Young Investigator Award” – for clinical research work on “Hyper immune plasma in Post Liver Transplantation”. He is a member of Indian Society of Gastroenterology and European Association for the Study of Liver Disease.

Liver is the largest organ inside the human body which helps to digest food, store energy and remove toxins. There are various kinds of liver diseases. Some of these diseases are caused by viruses, such as hepatitis A, hepatitis B and hepatitis C; others are caused by drugs, poisons or too much alcohol.
